BERNIE SANDS
Bernadette Sands is an experienced Office Manager, Accounts Manager, and MYOB Consultant. Driven by a desire to help Small Businesses with years of experience she takes pride in providing the best support and guidance possible. As a Certified MYOB Consultant, her goals include training Business Owners and helping Admin Staff to implement and refine office systems and procedures, guiding Business Owners through Start Up and growth phases as well as helping to develop meaningful reporting that all stake holders can understand they can be useful tools.
Bernadette's passion for Small Businesses can be traced back to the 1990s when she worked with her husband in their Kitchen Manufacturing business, where she spent significant time working on keeping the books accurate and developing systems within the factory and office. Gaining her MYOB Consulting qualification and then her Diploma of Business as an Adult, has spurred her onto developing more skills and knowledge which she is keen to put to good use with her client base.
As a MYOB Consultant, she specializes in Training, Reporting, and General Office Administration. Some of Bernadette’s memorable moments were while teaching MYOB at Community Education facilities, seeing faces light up when they finally “Got It”.
Bernadette has worked in many industries, gaining experience in Accounting (at a CA Firm), Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Banking, Project Management and Sales. As a seasoned Office Manager, she is passionate about efficiency and healthy team culture. Outside of the office, Bernadette enjoys Classic Cars, Wine Making, and quality time with family and friends
